Our business fosters social and economic inclusion by offering paid employment and training funded by the QLD government. As community assets and inclusive spaces, we provide diverse and authentic connection opportunities, strengthening community bonds and social capital. We celebrate creativity, diversity, and connection, aiming to break social isolation and build a resilient, sustainable community.
FOOD
Supporting Hope Street Cafes helps Micah Projects provide a free food security program. The cafes offer access to ready-made meals and non-perishable food items to low-income and vulnerable community members. Micah Projects' outreach services distribute over 300 culturally appropriate, nutritionally considered meals per week to those in social housing, managing chronic diseases, experiencing homelessness, or living in temporary accommodation due to domestic violence, economic pressures, or the affordable housing crisis.

Hope Street Café and Hope on Boundary Café provide nourishing café experiences in inclusive and community focused spaces! Our multifunctional venues transform seamlessly from their day-to-day café function to host meetings, events, workshops and art exhibitions.

Training
Our social enterprise offers paid traineeships for people facing barriers to employment through the Skilling Queenslanders for Work program. Through the Hope Street Café Training Program we have been able to successfully support over 40 participants to complete their traineeship, with over 30 Trainees moving into employment.
